Thank you very much to you all!!!!! Its always a pleasure to write down what I have done at the end of the day!  :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Today, 06:00 I received a private message on facebook from my client (he works on a offshore supply ship and does not have internet connection all the time).
He wanted the following parts added to the ship:

- 2 palettes on the bow
- 4 special drag nets (see pics) I think I would need 3-4 weeks to make them.

- The net boom are wrongly attached to the net gantry.

I said OK for the palettes.
I told him there is no way I would make the nets (all pics from the original shows it without but with net/trawldoors equipment.
The booms can be fixed differently with no problem

I made the palettes in a hurry as I just can't do any more work on this boat.

There is a point where people start extracting the urine, so I agree stop at the point you are happy and move on. He has got a solid gold model already.

Like i said before, looks good from far but don't look close  <:(

never noticed these comments before, but not really called for IMHO.

I heard a quote from a friend some time ago about negative criticism which went something like............"if you can do better then go away and show me"

But no one has the right to criticise when they themselves cannot come up with the right spelling for something.......

"nice build  :-)) just one adjustment needed ; on the radar i think it must be FERUNO not FERANO   :D "                   Working Vessels / Re: LOYAL VOLUNTEER BUILD LOG

Thanks a lot to you all!!!!  :-)) :-)) :-))

Lucky me I copied the Furuno radar decal directly from their homepage .... no misspelling there!! :}

I was bombarded with PNs from my customer today. I told him I wont change anything nor build anything new ... I also told him I can return his prepaiment and keep the ship myself, which would be happy to be in my livingroom!!!!

Ok today I fixed the netbooms on the ship.

First I made some holding arms for the boom. The held the arm firmly to the ship as the opening are a little bit smaller than the diameter of the boom.

I colored the fine rope with some mix of rustbrown and black acrylic paint.

Finished!! The booms can be taken off and placed on deck. Only the wireropes to the deck are permanently fixed to the sip.

Thants all for today ... maybe tomorrow I build other details .... who knows.

Maffen, let us help you out with your grammar!

You should start the sentance with 'The' and not just 'customer'........plus use a capital at the start of a sentance!.........So......

The customer is king...........(note no capital used for king).

Next mistake is the missing space after the commer, such basic errors.......tut tut.........again.

The customer is king, but not with you..........and another grammatical error, you should have used another commer after 'you', thus.

The customer is king, but not with you, ........oh dear another mistake Maffen, the use of the lower case i is incorrect, you should have used a capital 'i' like this 'I',  now let's see how it works now.

The customer is king, but not with you, I reckon...........oh dear you missed out the full stop at the end to finish the sentance. Shall we do it for you?

The customer is king, but not with you, I reckon.

There you go Maffen, not very difficult is it?
Now when you have mastered the art of the English language, I suggest you crawl back under the rock you came from and not bother us again with your drivel.

Another detail added ....  ok2

Its a holder for the spare Dragnets on the upper deck. This deck was a little bit empty and so I made something nice.
There is a similar one on the working deck. But there I can't put one in because if I open the lid with the winch on it ... I "park" it on the working deck. I made the winch so low that it fits including the lid into this space.

First I made a drawing and made a wooden helper to glue all pieces together, then I cut all pieces from ABS profiles.

Everything is glued with the right angles.

At the I glued the plates on.

I painted it with a rest of metallic paint leftover from the FV Cornelia Marie. and finished is this detail.

First I made the two openings....

And the ribs on the inside ....

And bigger ones on the outside .... they need to be adapted later.

As usual I have only 3-4 pictures of the trawldoors .... I build not the usual italian trawldoor made of wood. I have only one picture of the Loredanan which shows a part of a trawldoor ....
