I have always found making ovoid openings tidy to be one of the most difficult tasks. Yours look very tidy
Sorry to hear of your loss Danielle, an old reliable tool becomes an irreplacable friend. You know what it can do and how to get the best out of it. The crud in the grips is testament to many hours of use making and creating with it.
I have a triangular needle file bought in what was then (1990) a cheap set at about a tenner and I broke the tip off, but only a little, leaving what became my favourite line scribing tool. If I or anyone breaks that, I will go stark mental as I cannot get another like it:O( Everyone sells ones that have a noticable drop to the tip whereas my old one has a continuous gentle slope to the end:O)
Sorry, back to the M/P Nuova Loredana.
