Thanks you very much Mark  :-))

Now its time to finish the bow .... !
I have to say that with the extension on the bow the hull is starting to look like the Nuova Loredana!!!

Used paper to make  it and will use very thin and flexible plywood to fabricate it.

Too right  :-)) On a non related subject for curiosity sake. In the UK we have a supermarket chain called the 'Cooperative' and I see you have some boxes with 'COOP' on them. Do you also have the 'Coop' where you live? I don't want to be nosey about the boxes content as that is your business.

Lovely work Danielle.

Thanks a lot! Always doing my best to keep you updated with pics!!!!

Coop isn't the same as Cooperative in the UK. They have no buisness relations together. Coop is one of the two food and DoItYourself giants ins Switzerland ....

Hi Danielle
With a boat has big as yours and the weight . You might fine you are not moving enough water to turn the boat .  Have a look in non modelling areas. You can get Caravan fresh water pump 12v that will shift 5L per min.
Your in take might all so be restrictive . One option might be X2 pumps . they suck water in from under the flat of the hull near the keel and exit via the bow thruster  .X1 for port X1 for starboard .

Sorry to but in on this great build but I have a 19 foot long Bulk Carrier and my home made bow Thruster broke at the weekend and I am now thinking about replacing with 1 or 2 pumps, I have found these, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-Electric-Solar-Brushless-Motor-Water-Pump-Aquarium-Fountain-1000L-H-New-/291408615748  what are your thoughts please, they give 160lts per minute?. Again, sorry to but in.

Powerful pump! But it works only in one way I think. Might work well but I have no experience with bow trusters.
I must admit that I wouldn't use the pump bow truster again. To complicated to build. I wish I hadn't built this feature in my ship.

Very powerfull pump, you could use 2 one to port and one to starboard, with such a big model you would have plenty of space for the plumbing

Started with the second part of the deck ... only to stop again and doing something else ...  %)

... did all the "steel" bracing on the bow.

Hi Danielle, in the second photo there is a blue line between the deck and the bow, is this a sealer or just a glue line???

...and I like the way you have incorporated the wires into the forward central bracing - very neat. :-)

Thanks a lot to you all!  :-))
The wires are incorporated the same on the original ....  ok2
The blue line is from the pen I used to mark the plywood. I used no sealer. I always use simple fast bonding white wood glue.

Thanks a lot Mark!

 <:( <:( my Dremel 3100 drill decided to quit working ... R.I.P.
I may buy a Proxxon 230V drill ... I think they have the better quality.

I could finish the work with the help from another Dremel 3100 I had in stock.

Its always tricky to get the holes on the right place and dril it out to the right shape ...

I have always found making ovoid openings tidy to be one of the most difficult tasks. Yours look very tidy  :-)) Sorry to hear of your loss Danielle, an old reliable tool becomes an irreplacable friend. You know what it can do and how to get the best out of it. The crud in the grips is testament to many hours of use making and creating with it.

I have a triangular needle file bought in what was then (1990) a cheap set at about a tenner and I broke the tip off, but only a little, leaving what became my favourite line scribing tool. If I or anyone breaks that, I will go stark mental as I cannot get another like it:O( Everyone sells ones that have a noticable drop to the tip whereas my old one has a continuous gentle slope to the end:O)

Sorry, back to the M/P Nuova Loredana.
