Hi folks


Has anyone bought windows sets from macmouldings? Just curious to know the build quality compared to the speedline window set.


Looking at bits and pieces for my 1:12 scale Mersey and putting an order letter together for santa

bought them from macs for a tyne class very impressed and very storng and detailed but remember these are resin
speedlines are very very good but there white metal details good but this reflects in the price as there much more expensive
I buy a lot or have done from macs and rate his stuf highly that's my opinion but opinions vary

I have to agree with Luke, I purchaced the window set for my Arun build and I to was very impressed with what I got from macsmouldings.

Just so you know, there is no white metal used in the Speedline window kits.
Each window is made from five pieces of laser-engraved and cut clear acrylic sheet, using three different thicknesses of material. They are true to scale.
All the screw heads are there, both rows.

Hmmm!! Interest. Not sure what way to go. The speedline windows do indeed look good. Do you have any pictures to show detail?

Here's a photo from my Speedline Tamar. The windows build beautifully and look really good.

Those two pics are amazing. a great example of just how high quality both the kit is in design and production and how well you have built it CJ1.

you really can not tell much difference between the two!!!

For 1/12 Merseys and Aruns often in stock. If not, two or three days then I make three sets.
