CHRISTMAS
« Reply #11 on: December 21, 2013, 03:24:55 pm »

Hi Guys and gals,

I made two resolutions many years ago and stuck to them both.

1) was that to send Christmas cards for me was something I didn't believe in or agree with, as it only lines the pockets of the profiteers, and as such, those friends closest to me, I would rather either go round and wish Christmas greetings too or phone those that I couldn't reach, even international calls, and have stuck to that over the years, and as such, I apologise to any who have sent me a card, and have not received one back......but I wish you all a very happy Christmas.

2) the second resolution was that I would never make another resolution, as could never promise of sticking to it........and have stuck to that one to.

So to you all have a lovely and safe Christmas and a happy new year.

neil.

Do you have pictures of snow on your Christmas cards in Australia or pictures of the beach?

Strangely enough, many of our Christmas cards do have pictures snow on them :o  I suppose it goes back to the British origin of Australia and the "traditional" concept of Christmas in winter.
