Looks good Stan
How old is Junior? ... Good excuse for a build too.

Currently I am knocking up a castle for a five year old. It started with simply buying (ouch) ten mixed Knights ... And then I thought ... And now I am being creative. I could do with some flags or pennants and I might get some horses. I might even get carried away and get him a Welsh Dragon.

Junior 2 sounds like the right kind of pressure and a better priority all round.

HI all today I have checked out all the functions in the hull altered the rudder push rod checked the light switch was working on channel 5 of the radio. Also today I have tidied up the openings in the deck section to make sure everything can be got to when the deck is glued in place. I need to grease the prop shaft then one final dunk in the bath to confirm no leaks after which the deck will be fixed in place. I have loaded some more pictures to show openings in the deck section and the various equipment that are in these spaces.

Hi Everyone managed to glue the deck on yesterday. I used a ton of stabalit express but this will give a strong joint all round. I used the brick to hold down the hull until the glue  had dried. I now need to rub down the joint line to get a smooth finish more picture to follow after the Bank Holiday. Happy Christmas everyone I hope Santa brings you all something model related.

Hi Everyone hope you are ready for the big day tomorrow. I have managed to sand down the joint line today and the hull is now ready for some more holes to be drilled in it. We can then start on the superstructure. More pictures to follow in the new year workshop shut down until early January.

All the best everyone.

Just started to add a little more detail to the hull to give a scale look. Areas marked out then drilled and finished with files. The openings will need to be lined with thin plastic card to finish them off and make them watertight. I intend to fit small plastic strips on the outside to follow opening profile of the wash ports. More to follow.

Just started to fill wash port holes with thin plastic card. I have removed the vac formed section where the bridge is located and fitted new coamings  so new bridge unit can be built.

Just started to do some more. Working on the centre section at the moment a case of  trial and error but we will get there in the end.
