Looking to replace my Bandsaw
« on: December 12, 2013, 03:20:37 pm »

Wondering if any members have any knowledge of or
could recommend from personal useage, a Bandsaw, either bench mounted or on a stand.
I need to replace my old Burgess which is bit lightweight for larger timber.
Thank you.

Go here;

http://www.drapertools.com/

and type bandsaw into the search box.

I have been using Draper more and more, the quality is OK, price is very good and they are excellent when something goes wrong.

I can recommend Electra Bekum.......had mine for nearly 20 years and have only ever replaced blades........it runs as sweet as the day I bought it.......a brilliant piece of machinery.

I've been sharing an Axminster Tools band saw with a friend (in his workshop) and it works really well for us; metal and wood.

Many thanks to all three replies.
