Released F1 topdeck mould,wetsanded and polished up
Should be ready to mould bottom soon

Very big day today
Released the F1 moulds and gotta say I'm real happy it's took alot of work and time to get this far, the pics are as released Need and wetflat and polish then ready will be ready to mould the 1st 1

That is impressive, and thank you for sharing that. I just learnt more about mold making in this thread than I had got from all of the research I had done before.

Finally got the 1st completed hull out the moulds
Not 100% happy with layup and join but overall not bad for 1st 1

Been asked to display my boats at open day at Kingsbury water park so polished it and added some vinyl and painted on screen

Moulded and joined new hull
Added extra floatation foam in sponsons before i joined the hull ,engine stringers fitted and trimmed and polished up




New stronger layup including carbonfibre





Carbonfibre reinforced transom and rear of pod floor




Engine and driveline ,rudder and OB cowls fitted

New exhaust and cooling pipe and radiobox[/size] arrived, mounted the exhaust bracket and tried radiobox placement [/color][/size]Made & fixed the grab handles and canopy locks Waiting for couple other bits to arrive so can fit out radio,servos etc Just gotta figure out now best way to mount radiobox Iv got some alloy angle so thinking using some of that cross the tunnel and mount it that way

Meant to add. Interesting geometry of the stern gear. Look forward to having a good look at this "in the flesh" as they say at the lakeside.

Finally hit the water with it yesterday needs some more setting up ,also weight of fuel causing some porpoising ,so need to move fuel bag abit ,also i got a rough idea now how much fuel its burning during race distance but ran well from bench to water with some setting up and fine tuning will come good  :-))
