MRP Voyager MKI advice req please
« on: December 14, 2013, 05:49:10 PM »

Hi All...

Totaly new to this,so please bear with me.

I have aquired a MRP Voyager MKI (i believe) 1m 'racing cup yacht'
It is complete and everything seems to work, Also have the original manual.

Whilst I do have an interest in RC boats, and its something I would like to get into, this model isn't really what im looking for in a beginners boat, its too large I think to start with.

What I would ideally like to do is sell this one and put the money towards something more suitable.
Now.....as said, I have very little knowledge and google search hasn't thrown up much if any info on this model.
So without this sounding like a 'for sale' thread, can anyone possibly help me in telling me exactly what I have and a rough guide price to put it up for. I have no idea as to its value.

I can take some photos if anyone wants to see it.

many thanks  :-)

Firstly, welcome to the forum :-))

Secondly, check your personal messages where you will find a welcome message. If you read the "Rules at a glance" you will note that before you can sell anything on Mayhem you have to have made 25 contributory posts to the forum. This is to prevent Mayhem from being used as a de facto eBay without fees.

However, having said that, I'm sure if you post some photos of the model someone will be able to give you an idea as to the boat itself and its value.

I hope you understand.

Could go to a 100 on a good day.
If I was putting it on an auction site
I would put a reserve of half that so
you don't have to give it away.

Best of luck.
