The preserved steam tug Cervia now has it's own web site up and running and is well worth a look     www.cervia-volunteer-crew.com

 Hi George,

Thanks for the info and link to the CERVIA, what a magnificent restoration that the crew have made, she looks as if she has just been launched.

I have been an admirer of Cervia for many years, the last time that I saw her was in Peterhead when she was chartered for North Sea work.

My steam driven CERVIA was posted on the forum ( http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,24958.msg267493.html#msg267493 ) some time ago and was fitted with a 10V which was reversible and self starting by a very HEATH ROBINSON  device.
This engine has now been replaced with a Stuart D10 with Stevenson link revers gear.

It's great to see the old lady looking so good.

George T.

I am so glad.   O0
She was looking rather sad in photos in 2009
My model is from the Model Boats plan built in the mid 1970's and has 'been in the wars' almost as much as the full size one.
One of my 'to do' visits when I next come back to UK.
