Hullo Neil.......  :o I once had a Mitsubishi 380 loan hire car from AVIS..............all of the bells & whistles you could think of.......including a glass roof insert that opened to mother nature.....

You guessed it........I managed to find the button to open it  O0.......then it started to rain  <:( <:( <:(....the AVIS technician found a blown fuse  >>:-( >>:-( .....in a very soggy vehicle interior.........Derek

I'm sure there is a better thread somewhere for this, but I can't find it.
One of my distant relatives works in the shipping industry and I got this news through the family vine recently (some details changed to protect identities):
He has had a nightmare winter, as you can imagine.  Ships not being able to get into port, not being able to get out of port and hanging around waiting till the Bay of Biscay is calm enough to cross.  All very stressful.  He had been talking to one of the masters about crossing Biscay and why he wasn’t venturing out because another shipping company were going for it.  He told him they ‘had s*** for brains!’  He was proved right the next day when one of their vessels nearly capsized in heavy seas and lost half their containers overboard.
