Hi all   
King Lear Model Boat Club would like to invite you to the Fireboat Funday/Vintage Model Boat Day which will take place on Sunday 7th September 2014 at King Lears Lake, Watrmead Country Park, Nr Wanlip, Leicestershire, LE7 1PD.    We welcome you for an informal and friendly event where likeminded owners of Model Fireboat/Vintage Model Boats can get together, so bring a boat and have a sail.

There are toilet facilities in the Country Park but no catering or café except for an ice cream van, so bringing your own lunch is recommended.

There are however two pubs within two miles of the Country Park where ‘pub grub’ is available.

There is a £2.50 entry fee to the country park so please have the exact change ready as this is paid to an unmanned machine which does not give change.
