Hi Guys,
Just to let you know that Cherry and I from Hunter Systems will be trading at the show. My health is a little better and I have had permission from the Doctor to go so we will be heading up the A23/24 on Friday (hopefully).
See you there.

Del's eyes must be going....
Packing car now, and due to a slight "Mayhem Squall" last weekend which broke my gazebo and ripped my marquee, I have now got a "margebo" a little application with the hack saw on the marquee poles and hey presto...so no laughing at me when steamboat apprentice and I put it together  :}
We look forward to seeing you all later, looking forward to catching up with everyone  :-))

Hi Guys,
Cherry and I from Hunter have just got back from a heatwave! No rain, no vehicles trapped in mud - just sun, glorious sun.
The show at Alfold was as glorious as normal with the general running to Alan Colson and all of the PA to Chris Eager plus of course the girls from the Girls Brigade and a few of the Members of the Dabblers. Thank you to all for looking after me, I feel honoured to have so many friends who partake of this show. %)

The only down side was the number of club members from a certain very local club who had their FREE stand full of items and models 'For Sale'
Now this is a big infringement on show rules that the Trade who PAY to have a stand which goes to the charity get really fed up with. Secondary trading with club members pocketing there grubby takings should be banned!! There is always a Bring and Buy at this show which is run by honest club members who do sterling work and should be congratulated for the hours at the show sitting and working at the Bring & Buy stand and not seeing the show. There was no notice anywhere on their stand saying that would donate 10% to the charity. >>:-( >>:-(
At the end of the weekend their labour donates 10% of the selling price to the charity which in this case places their venue for the use of the show for free which is for looking after retired and ill merchant sailors. They do sterling work for these guys. :-)
Hold on though, isn't the club that is selling for the own pockets got a similar name to the Estate Charity that is giving the venue for free for the weekend,  YES!! is the answer - shame on you people!!  <*< The Estate and the club are not one and the same just the name which is similar.

I agree with Graham. That was what the bring & buy was for. We have for many years sold RNLI items with Alan's OK. All that money raised go's to charity. Still a very good weekend thanks to the organisers. Hope to see everyone next year.

Many thanks to the traders, exhibitors, visitors and helpers at the show, it was a great weekend. Plenty of money raised for charity again.
I am not certain that I can let the cat out of the bag with regards to the weather for Mayhem just in case they leave us with the rubbish, a chance I am not prepared to make, sorry Martin {-). Alan
