Hi Norry,

I'd have liked to but had some 1/1 scale tug towing going on here !

Maybe we can arrange such a event down here with Andy Wright and friends . . .

Hi Channel - I've recently moved to Cardiff (or just outside, in Penarth) - where do you sail - I've been looking for a club/lake.

Regards, Gary

Hi Gary,

I use to use Roath Park lake in Cardiff - thats wherethis pic was taken however its thick with weed so won't go again. Will probably use Cold Knapp in Barry now. I understand a few members of this forum meet there on a Sunday morning.

What models do you have ?

Thanks for the info Chris - currently have just a Graupner Bremen 9 police boat, and am looking for my first tug - possibly an RTR or pre-owned.

I work in Barry, but haven't heard of Cold Knapp - where is that - will definitely come along.

Thanks, Gary

Hi,

Its over towards Porthkerry - near Barry Old Harbour. See - http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=51.38807,-3.28878|17|8&loc=GB:51.40634:-3.26709:14|barry|Barry,%20CF63%204

I have a Graupner RTR Southampton tug thats great fun - can give you a play with it if you want. You can buy them new for around £160.

Cheers
