esc
« on: January 21, 2014, 05:46:57 PM »

hi all

i ordered two logic brushless speed controllers from my local model shop not aware that they had no reverse function on them cost (40 each unused managed to sell them for 10 each <:( been wating two months for replacments for my  boat now told not expected till march
my question is
1 the motors call for 60 amps the logic are rated at 75 amps just in case

2 the logics are water cooled and cost 69 95 each

3 do they need to be water cooled

4 is there another esc which will do the same job at about the same price

5  the motors are overlanders t 3548/5

6  or do i bite the bullet and wait ,i have looked at other esc and are now confused
7  batteries  are overlander li po 11.2 5000ml amps
thanks for your time
regards midships

:-)) Hobbyking every time, got them in all my fast cabin cruisers, brushless outrunner motors and water cooled ESCs go like stink,60amp motors and 100amp ESCs quite a long run time with 2 x 5000ma batteries 14.4v NiMH.I know people say you should spend your money in british companies but I do spend quite a bit in firms like Cornwall model boats and Component shop so everybody gets a look in.I say give it a try and if you don't like brushless you have not spent a fortune, I would not go back to brushed motors for fast boats,I hope I have been of some help,Ray :-)) :-)) :-))

I agree with KINMEL on this . Got two and getting a third but get the programming card as well. It makes life so much easier
