Remember in Canada as a kid in the 50s 60s i went round cleaning the sidewalks for the neighbours made a good few bucks. This snow blower would have helped

Snowblowers imported from Canada in 1962 were in use at RNAS Lossiemouth.
We were a Master Diversion Airfield for the V Bombers as a long runway and fairly
 fog free fitted the bill.
What we did have was an Easterly that blew the snow straight back onto 270 main
runway.

  A Goblin on the back of a truck ensured clear runway at Topcliffe in the sixties.
