or photo of the plan showing the position of her waterline.

Does the kit traditionally come with 2 hulls to glue together ?  {:-{

  No, early hulls were one piece fiberglass, later hulls are, I believe, one piece ABS.

Brucey bonus then my kit had 2 abs hulls....
 
The guy paid to seperate hulls, maybe looked at a fly temporarily  :D

Hi john, I took some photos for you today. The boat belongs to a friend of mine who bought it as you
see it. It has no waterline as such hence the thread.

have the anchor recesses been filled ? :o  These are a moulded in feature on mine

Hi Ray, yes the anchor recesses have been filled in or rather not cut out
as I believe the model has been scratch built.
It is 44"length 14" beam.

 Hi. The boat is scratch built plank on frame and has no anchors fitted. It is approx 1/24th scale and is 44” & 15” Unfortunately to get it down to the waterline has made the total weight is 21Kg. At my age I have to get John to launch it.

great boat John. Beautifully weathered, although I think Smit Towing would be a bit disconcerted if one of their vessels went to that point..
You can see the water line on the vessel. Its the break point between the oxide red and the black.
Nice piece. Love the wheel house. Wish I'd thought of doing a removable wheel house on mine.

Seeing as i have just aquired a smit nederland kit i will be detailing the bridge, had the idea of fitting fiber optics into the wheel house but seeing these photos more detailing will now go into the build

martin i aauired the model via fleabay and picked it up last tuesday from near norwich check e bay there was a couple on there last week
