Right, here is an update, a few bits may be missing as I have had a few internet access issues.
Where I am at now is the electrics stage, I am doing this before the sides are fitted but have made everything accessible and removable, not sure if others go about things like I do, I have made up trays and a switch bracket for the on/off switch as the pictures show, all these parts are to be unscrewed and removed for painting.
A couple of questions on the electrics, I have never done this before and am not sure about where some wires go.
1) three black wires come from the motor and three blue ones come from the speed controller, is the middle one of each a common neutral ? Also the blue wires are marked below the soldering points "C", "B" and "A" what do these mean?
2) Does the speed controller receiver lead plug in the "THRO" connection on the receiver ?
3) Does the Rudder servo lead plug into the "RUDD" connection on the receiver ?
The receiver connection options are :- BIND/DATA, THRO, AILE, ELEV, RUDD, GEAR and AUX1, the unit is a Spektrum AR610 and is designed for model aircraft.
Please be critical of my ideas and let me know if my set up is OK or not, if you would like more photy's please just ask
