Hi Meyhemers,
                           the Perkasa I am building has no detail in the plans as to where to locate the rudder and prop. I think I saw something on this site giving a sort of rule of thumb postioning. My build will be single rudder and prop. Can any one please advise.

The prop position will be determined in part by where you place your motor and the length of your prop shaft. You need to ensure that the prop can freely rotate and not be fouled by the hull (been there etc). The rudder should be close to the prop and again ensure they don't touch. You will also have to take into account the rudder arm; ensure it has room to rotate inside the hull.

Trailing edge of the rudder about in line with the drop of the transom.  Prop to have clearance to avoid fouling the rudder and if possible allow removal without disassembling the rudder.  Also (rule of thumb) about 10% of the diameter of the prop between top of prop and hull bottom.
