Watched "The Golden Age of Liners" last night; the reporter went to a number of properties which contained large sections 'relocated' from ships which were being scrapped locally, one being a disused cinema which contained bits from the White Star liner Homeric.
A friend of mine lived in a house in Innellan, south of Dunoon, in Argyll, which was panelled with timber from the Furness Withy liner Queen of Bermuda.
And it's raining and a bit blowy here in East Yorkshire too....
