37' Oakley
« on: July 30, 2007, 03:22:16 pm »

I thought you might like to see the latest of my lifeboat projects that has just been out for its 'sea trials'. This is a 1/12th scale model of the old Flamborough (North Landing) 37' Oakley RNLB The Will And Fanny Kirby.

The second picture below was taken at night with all the navigation/deck lights on as the only light source.

1:48th scale for my ships. Large enough to show gratuitous detail, small enough to stay married.
