That's a couple of times I've seen this video and it still makes my stomach churn watching a ship doing something so wrong !

Can you imagine the reaction of health and safety watching people and traffic going off and on a heaving stern door. Seamanship brilliant, safety observance zero !

What did the ship or the guy who was sailing it do wrong?...he put it where it was required,..if anything he should be applauded for getting it between those two others..cos after all it is a breakers yard... :-))

just that having spent most of my working life standing on one bridge or another, to watch a ship charging at the hard stuff on purpose just doesn't feel right. Notwithstanding how good a shot he was or it being a shipbreakers !

running a Shannon up the beach for the first time?

I watched the news report on the TV with the new design lifeboat hitting the beach at full wack and very spectacular it was too ! Certainly keep the barnacles down  :-))
