Tug Boats
« on: March 05, 2014, 04:10:00 pm »

Due to part owning a pub called The Tug Boat, and thus acquiring a model tug boat when it closed. The boat was hand crafted by a gentleman that lived on the Wirral. My son is slowly replacing small items on the boat that where taken off when the boat was an item of viewing in the pub. I think he is just awaiting rudders now and has booked her in to make sure her remote controls work. We have never sailed the boat, and just wondered if there are any tug boat enthusiasts magazines out there to read before we think about sailing her. She is a fair size and is also rather heavy as she is made out of metal.

Er! metal?, can it fit in a bath, and does it displace more than it weighs - and do you have a photo  O0

Thanks for putting those on for me. It doesn't look as big as in real life but It will be fun when we sail her.

Thanks for your comment. She hasn't been in water yet, she is new. There is also a model at the wheel, but you can't see him in the picture.
