Fairmount Alpine stern light / yellow towing light
« on: March 07, 2014, 09:57:49 am »

Please can anyone tell me which way round the lights are one the light mast for the stern and towing lights ,I have trailed the web and found plenty pictures of both Summit and Alpine but there is no good clear picture . My gut feeling would be that the white would be over the yellow . No hints in the build book .
Thank you
David

Hello David

Just so you get your lights right on your boat, the collision Regs state, in Rule 24 (a) (iv) "a towing light in a vertical line above the sternlight"   So Yellow on top,

Theres a few people on here that like myself that are navigating officers or master mariners and knowing these things are the basics to passing our exams, just giving you the right information for your.

Dose that make me a rivet counter now. <:( lol
