LEDs - I need some help...
« on: March 10, 2014, 09:34:36 pm »

Chaps, I'm in need of some help here. Is there anyone here would make me up a complete wiring loom, consisting of:

Two 10mm HiViz Amber flashing led's
Two 5mm Clear HiViz led's
Two 5mm Red HiViz led's
One searchlight

Ready to install with a Futaba plug.

My soldering skills were never up to much, but now with this damn rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and fingers, I'm finding it impossible to do, I've ruined several led's in attempting to do the job.

I'm quite willing to pay anyone to do this for me, I can either supply the led's or let whoever does the job to supply them, either is good for me.

Rich, If no one here comes forward to do it for you, and you have the led's, wire and a plan I can pop down and do the soldering for you.
Perhaps a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, only payment I'd want is the odd cup of tea or coffee.

I'm sure between us we could make a loom if no one comes forward?

Fear not, DW...I always have cow juice in the fridge. And there's a drop of the famous Scottish falling down liquid in the cupboard as well...

If you have ordered all the bits today they should be with you by this weekend, I'm free all weekend so will pop down.

Yes I do take cow juice but not keen on the scottish falling down liquid, even the smell turns me a shade of green. Just as well, god knows what the loom would look like if we started on that stuff  {-)

Ian...looks like we're on for the weekend. Just had an email from the Component Shop, all items in stock, and shipped by 1st class post, should be here comfortably for the weekend.

The 'cat is also being shipped by overnight courier, should be here by Thursday, Friday at the latest.

The kettle will be on...
