14TH CENTURY LOOKOUT/SIGNAL TOWER.
« on: March 13, 2014, 08:07:43 pm »

Here is my representation of a 14th century lookout/signal tower. It is made from real miniature bricks and tiles mounted on a card background, weathered and foliage added.

Comments always welcome.

Hi Neil, don't know about masterful  :embarrassed:  It is around the OO gauge scale, so would fit into a railway setting. And to answer your question, no not into railways, plus I have nowhere to keep one. Glad you like it though.

Now I though your cannons are superb, it is all subjective, we always look at our own work and judge, sometimes negatively or dismissively. I am pleased you like it though :-)

That's brilliant Si have you been anywhere near Clare in Suffolk cause there is a tower very similar to that used to ride past it nearly every day on my way to work at Bury St Edmunds.
