hi stan, i have visited your group at east park a few months ago,  what a fantastic day me and the family had,  you have a lovelly selection of boats, i also recently visited the groups website and found it to be unbeleavably informative, well done to you, please keep them video's coming, i chatted to a member of your group on skype last month and found it a great way of communicating with the group, i live in hull and will be paying your group a visit in the near future when this weather gets a little better

I have visited the website many times.
They seem to have a great ethos. The idea of a group and not a club (so no commodore) is great.

Just been looking at your site to find that the hull model boat group said that there is no club at east park well the hull model boat club have been on the go since 1933 and are affiliated to the MPBA we meet at the park on a Wednesday and a Saturday we run events and shows we run club 500 and pea pod racing after our monthly meetings tug towing, scale steering, tethered hydros and straight running through the year and attend out of town shows you have photos of the club at CADMA for the last three years sorry for going on but the group keep on using our name for their benefit all the best buster

Very sorry for late reply here Martin

1/ can you please point out where this statement appears on our site or yours??

Just been looking at your site to find that the hull model boat group said that there is no club at east park???

All we have on the Club is a link to them on our Links Page!

2/ In Answer Too:  the group keep on using our name for their benefit.
Mmmm… we attend between 8-14 shows/events per year Under the HMBG not HMBC…we have raised £6,500 for 1 national Charity (Cancer Research UK, and two local Charities, (Special care Baby Unit, Dove House Hospice)

What we find is we lose allot of media publication, due to the media spelling errors adding the C instead of the G….so basically all we have done is promote the club… Obviously I now insist that all events media are informed before publication. I hope this settles this post.

Mr Martin (Admin), there is always 2 sides to a story..before you post as fact you should really check on facts.

please look at what the HMBG with a "G" at www.hullmodelboatgroup.co.uk has accomplished over the years....

I am saddened by your post knowing that the HMBG with a "G"  HAS ACCOMPLISHED SO MUCH

I hope other Mayhem users read this post and are not swaded by your post as we at the HMBG do know personally some of your strong members who go back years,
we  meet at the annual boat shows and we do discus these matters.

please dont let this website fall into the catagory of "school playground chit chat"
