TS Duchess of Montrose Hamilton

Same as before drawings and hull,  looking at other post I am thinking they will be in London as well?

I think you would be better searching on Clydeside rather than in Greenwich (expensive) . Try the Glasgow universities and more Scottish sources, Caledonian MacBrayne archives perhaps, Clyde Shipping and Clyde Model Steamer websites etc. I dont have the exact www addresses but there is a wealth of resources on the subject.

if you join www.shipsnostalgia.com  and seek out a gentleman called Donald Meek........he has a wealth of info on these ships and I believe has also built D of M himself...........and a most helpful man you could ever wish to meet..great guy....mention neil to him,

Duchess of Montrose was a Denny ship so the drawings may be in the NMM.

Duchess of Hamilton was a H&W ship so drawings could be anywhere.

The Model Steamer Club of Glasgow had both sailing with the club back in the late sixties in 96th and 48th scale so drawings must be about somewhere.

Denny Shipbuilding archives are held by the University of Glasgow and the Scottish Maritime Museum.
