would it be possible to put a robbe twin navy stick in to a spektrum dx6i ?
i know the twin sticks have normal connections on them like the ones you plug in to the the receiver.
but i have never opened up my hand set so dont know whats inside

The robbi set has manual trim . if the DX6i has manual trim then thats one less problem. if it has digtal trimI would not know were to start.
second  you will need to messure the value of the pots on the DX6I and the navy if they are the same happy days if not going to have to change the pots.
thrid . you  going to have to work out how to fit the robbie f14 navey unit in to the dx6i  good luck , I do no have a clue on that.

Another otion is to convert the Robbi F14 to 2.4GHZ via a giant cod conversion kit.

If you want twin stick on your DX6i the best option is to modify the existing stick unit.

In one if the mags coming up there will be an article on hiw a twin set was put into a planet tx,  I used it at tge weekend.  Article by Colin vass

You would need to remove the stick assembly relocate the po, and make some split shaft adaptors. A lathe is really helpful to machine the parts if you want a factory look to the conversion, but you could possibly bench fit parts if you don't have access to such machinery.
