Another OCCRE Ulises build
« on: March 21, 2014, 11:05:01 am »

Just thought I'd post a few pics of my Ulises. Started it just before Xmas and this is as far as I've got. Most of the construction is finished but now into the fiddly detailing stuff. Lots of little bits to be painted and fitted!! Planning on finishing off the white paint on the hull, then going to concentrate on the motor and electrics before the detail stuff.  Will post some more as it progresses.

Well finally, it's finished.  Taken just about a year except for the summer when we were doing other things. So I guess it's about 8 or 9 months really.  Attached are some pics - it's not perfect but passes the '3 foot rule' so I'm quite pleased at my first attempt at a plank on frame hull and lots of twiddly add-on bits. Took much longer that I expected but worth it in the end.
