Just a little bit of information for any one building the invincible class carriers e.g. Illustrious/ Ark royal at 1/192nd scale.
I have located small ships boats from J R Haynes not an exact match but can be re-worked along with water tight doors, bollards, lockers, brass etch stanchions and navigation lights.
From2k technologies I have sourced brass etch ladders. (2ktechnologies.com or Search e bay)
Scale Sea King helicopters form marks model bits (marksmodelbits.com) or search e bay, he is in the process of making the master mould for these.
Life raft pods to scale around 25p each
Small Gemini and out board motor at 20 and 30 mm. These are now on his web site.
I must say that I approached mark with a request for the life raft, Gemini and sea king at this scale and he was more than happy to accommodate my requests.
I know that there are metal Harriers out there at this scale, but I will have to find the link and post at a later date.
I though this would save builders of these craft a lot of anguish searching the internet as I have spent hours getting nowhere.
