Branston Sunday 13 April, Booking office now open!
« on: April 04, 2014, 12:17:12 am »

Hi Folks

The booking office is now open for the Branston venue Sunday 13 April. Please book in as early as possible to allow the race organisers to best plan the heats for the benefit of all competitors.

You can click here for further information: http://www.bmprs.co.uk/
Mark Wild is taking the entries so alternatively you can submit your entry direct to him via email:
mywild@btinternet.com

The Branston venue is one of my favourites because this lake has seen some fabulous racing.  It is big enough to allow for boats of all classes to have a proper blast whilst allowing for good vision from the pit/launch areas. Also the facilities such as toilets are within a short walk from the lake.

I shall look forward to seeing you there on Sunday 13th :-))

Craig

Hi Folks

I suddenly realised I captured some photos from Branston April 2013 which brought back good memories of what was a windy day but an excellent one! So here goes for anyone interested.... :-)

First is the D9 Zen 29 powered Phantom by Malcolm Pratt>

Second is the SG-35 powered Phase 2 D-Class hull by Kurt>

Next up is the A-Class from last year starting with Sally Butler's Irvine 40 powered Cavalier which gained 2nd place in this class>

And close behind in the A-class last year at Branston was Kian's Crusader III winning third place:

And this final photo shows the launch area of the A-Class boats>

Cheers
Craig :-))

Hi Craig?
Great pictures which ignite fantastic historical memories of that one drivers testing lake last year!

Well done for remembering that great day in pictures!

Hi Folks

The booking office closes at 9pm tonight so if you are reading this and intend to book in, you've not got long to do it!

For those of you that have booked in, Bring On Sunday I say! The weather this time looks promising and we have a cracking good day to look forward to!

See you Sunday :-))

Oh and without meaning to be a bore, please double check that your fail safes are set up to work properly prior to the pre-race testing that is done. I am going to check mine right now %%

Hi guys.

Echo all comments. Branston 1 was a fantastic day!
Good to see everyone enjoying this event with fab driving skills, new boats, new engines, and new competitors.

Some great banter too!!!

The Branston hosts were as great as ever, thanks guys for the work you do in making us at home on your local lake.

Very well organised, and weather good, some nice choppy conditions pm.

Nottingham should be good , can't wait!!
