hi, i bought this boat today at coalville...its running a small brushless motor.....can anyone tell me what it is please?? scratch built? kit? year? etc etc

Amati did one of these as a kit but I don't think its that one.

it could well be this one as its looks to have laser cut ply frames.....the boat isnt as quick as i was expecting but i guess a higher kv motor may well take care of this situation  8)

grace....I think you are correct......an Amati Arno XI Ferrari 800kg Hydroplane 1953 (A1604)  %) ...could be old.......& looking in good condition :-))

The real difference is the Amati was reported as a ply covered hull.....whereas your model appears to be individually planked on the hull top

Would individual planking not better represent the full size craft? %).....

Seems like you have collected a real bargin......Derek
