PRE DREADNOUGHTS AT WICKSTEED
« on: May 22, 2014, 01:49:29 pm »

There has been quite a lot of discussion about getting as many pre-dreadnoughts at Wicksteed this weekend. I am planning to attend but have an eye on the weather.

Saturday appears to be a bit grim but Sunday somewhat better.

The question is I can only do one day so is there a favoured day for the pre-dreadnoughts to do battle!

I have Canopus 1899 and Lord Nelson 1908 both at 1/96 scale which I'm planning on bringing but the more the merrier.

Saturday or Sunday?

Thanks Geoff

Hi Geoff

From what I've seen from the weather forecast for Kettering- supposedly the best day will be Sunday if you believe the weatherman!
Hope to see you there either day but tonyH with his French cruiser can only make Sunday, the rest of us are available for both days.

Thank you, I think I'll try for the Sunday then, as I'm coming quite a way - Southend Essex
