Photographs of "Swan-neck" Tug?
« on: July 02, 2007, 10:02:09 am »

Hi folks,
now I have to come up witha question on a subject, on which I am not very much in to deep. Anyway, I hope that somebody of the Mayhemmers out there may help me.
A clubmate wants to do a tug, which we call with a nickname "swan-neck" tugs, as their bridges sitting on a tower very high over the deck. As he wants to do that freelance on an already existing hull, we are just heading for some photographs of the origins (just to get an imagination).
I know that there are two types: One with a bridge sitting on an telescope and also some with a bridge sitting on an fixed tower.
Does anybody knows where to find some photographs?
Thanx in advance,
Jörg

Hi Dicky,
that`s brilliant stuff, exactly what he was heading for.

In my opinion, they are so ugly....- they cry for being built...  ::)

Thankyou very much,
Jörg
