SEAPOD

The realistic pod control for scaled pod models

·         Pre-wired, no possible connection mistakes

·         Uses the electronic of the remote control

·          Can be steered with two fingers

·         Only one stick to control everything: thrust/rotation

·         Suitable for every types of remote control expect pistols

·         Suitable for every types of motors : brushed/brushless

·         Suitable for every variators/controllers

·         Initialize automatically when the remote control starts: stop engine, steering at 0°

·         The pod steers exactly at the speed ordered by the remote control

·         The pod reacts exactly to the degree, according to the stick orientation

Here is a photo of the module SEAPOD

I go to UK in a few weeks.

 I have to visit some friends designers, I would show the module to my friends.

The green led indicates the switched on of the system (12 volts), the red led indicates the low(weak) battery(drum kit).

The system is any cablé, no weld to be made, it is plug and play

It is the ideal system to command tug boats ASD

Hello the lads

Here is the SEAPOD ready to be installed in a model of tug boat SDM.
Two units will be needed because there are two propellers.



It will be enough to connect the pod, the engine of position (plug yellow) and the sensor by a notched belt so that it is fit to work.
You position the pod with zero
You connect batteries, the green led ignites
You initialize the system by pressing on the small button (hole in the boitier)
You will find the zero automatically in every starting.

The pound gives you the size

Hello here is Seapod ready to be installed in a tug SDM

We connect batteries (plug brown Bt) the green led ignites

We initialize the system by pressing on the small button (hole in the case)
We find the zero automatically in every piece of news put back in action

The pound gives the dimension  of the module.
Thickness two and a half centimeters

If the unit requires Horizontal and vertical from two joysticks, where
will the throttle channel come from for each drive?

On this video you have two sticks which you do not see.
But who exist!
Right left by moment, with the mixing of the radio we can make turn pods independently in different directions or in the same direction .Avec her throttle control the speed of (one) the propeller is adjusted? It is also mixed by the radio .
Vous know that it is impossible to make as the video, with a single handle and without radio mixing of both handles. It is idem with the SEAPOD
The engineers, to follow a designer who moved forward an idea, tested a variant. They fell behind the initial program because of it .Mais, at the end of this week you will have a video on which you will see the SEAPOD in action(share).

There are two possible modes(fashions):

A mode with vertical / horizontal + gas which allows to master well gases on 360 °, it is the mode 1 three ways are occupied

A mode with vertical / horizontal and the slope of the handle gives the volume of gases onto 360 °, it is closer to the reality but more difficult to master the volume of gases on 360 °: it is a radio control ..................... it is the mode 2. Two ways are occupied.
It is the computer which makes the work.
The engineers study a lever similar to the reality.
Obviously it is voluminous, and it has a high cost of manufacturing. It will be an option

A TUG SDM is under construction, the hull will be molded on Wednesday.
A demonstration in navigation will take place at the beginning of May during the "GAZOULAND" which is the equivalent of the MAYHEM show to WIKSTEED .

I know there would be two joy sticks,

But that is only four channels.

I am guessing that the vertical axis is split with a "Y" connector
and plugs into each(2) seapod  as throttle(G) and vertical(V) then?

For a second Drive...

No, no cordon Y
4 channels mode 2

For the right pod to connect you Vertical / horizontal you have the functions rotation of the right pod / gas

For the left pod you connect Vertical / horizontal you have the functions rotation pod / left gas

If you have a mixing the pod mastercommands(orders) both pods if you connect the function mixing to go straight ahead for a long time (make road)

Gases are at the end of the handle ( supplied kit) you use 6 ways, three to the right, three to the left

The management of gases is more fluid

One of my concerns was that the other video has modified the joystick on the transmitter.
And that was something that I would want to avoid. The seapod is still a mysterious
black box, but it would appear to give the control of Zdrives in a very good way.

Hello

The engineers prepare a very clear note

It will hold on a page (there are only 6 threads to connect)

In the mode 2 there is no modification of the transmitter

In the mode 1 it is necessary to connect a proportional way with the rotacteur down from the handle, there is a grip to be moved and 4 screws to be positioned on the case

It is really a very simple system.

The engineers are studying a lever as on the truths but, obviously, it will have a cost. It will be an option.
