Anyone use the Dutch courage

Hello,
Does anyone use the Dutch courage for towing, or just normal sailing. If so how have you made the rear deck hatch cover water tight?
Regards
Ian

We have one at our club that tows. He replaced the deck that came with kit for a timber deck and the rear hatch is sealed and secured using vasoline and screws hope this helps

If you look at Neil's latest build on here Cal Mac ferry.
he shows the best way to construct a watertight hatch.
