another logging tug

This time i dont use wood, but 1,5mm steel.



together with another steel tug.
the hull of the RT Magic. (not my tug)

Very nice job. I'd be interested in more details such as weight and build info/pics about how you formed the hull

@ Tbone: i work on a shipyard.
I have many tools for working with steel.
I mounted the deck on a wooden frame.
Then i spotwelded the steel parts one by one.
At the end i welded the whole tug together.
I fotgot to made some pictures.

YESSSS!!!  She will to float, and there is no leakage.

There is a lot of weight needed to float on her waterline.

Very impressed with this although a little unforgiving in the event of mistake, great way to build boats although most of us would be short on the main active ingredient SKILL.
Look forward to seeing it finished.

I'm no electronics engineer but on a steel narrowboat the Faraday Cage effect hinders mobile phone signals getting through, so my guess is you will need to have the aerial external to the hull.
