What size boot does the Surgeon use?
Sounds painful but a good booting never
did me no harm  :D

Seriously Martin, hope it solves the problem

 thanks chaps, mUCH appreciated.

back from hospital now and all is well. Bit high on pure Morphine so probably shouldn't post to much. DID YOU KNOW mORPHINE HAD A SWEET TAsTE... or do they do it in different flavours?!  FEeling A LOT beeter now and I don't pass out when having a urinary break! But to quote Dent, Arthur Dent; " I feel like a military academy. Bits of me keep passing out!" I had a urinary stent installed last round as they couldn't get to the stone.... uncomfortable is a mUCH under under exaggerated term.  <:( They got to stone and used a Light sabre or something ans zzapped it, forgot to ask why they laser these days and not ultrsonics anymore. NHS was very good and Nurse very humours.... or maybe thats was the drugs too. Never ever been drunk  so this closes I'll get.

They said don't use heavry machinery but I'm only flying a lght plane this afternnon so that's alright then!

I'm puzzled! Why would they give you morphine if you are already stoned???   {-)

Glad all seems to have gone well.

Hi Martin

Glad you're feeling better, I had a morphine injection pen jabbed into my leg by a rather big matrony nurse three hours after I broke my wrist in three places and dislocated my fingers!
I don't remember any taste but the weird feeling of it travelling up my leg, up my stomach, across my chest and down my arm... Then I woke up six hours later with my arm coated in plaster from my fingers to my shoulder! :o

So pleased you survived that one, Martin.  Did they let you watch it's journey on TV ?
Watching the electrodes sparking is fascinating.  (so I hear )    :}

Hope you feel much better soon.

Good to hear you're doing well, Martin. That morphine is great stuff, although it made me very nauseous.

 NHS was very good and Nurse very humours....

Funny that. I remember that the nurses who were there for both my brachytherapy and colonoscopy procedures were laughing, too. It was probably something to do with the view.............. :o
