Morning All,

 Well huge surprise and shake up here in UK politics!
 See: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/eu_referendum/results

 As this is a model boat forum, we found that politics and religion are such emotive subjects that we have had to declare them verboten!

 Sorry about this but we have learnt this on Mayhem the hard way....!    {:-{

 Kind Regards,
 Martin - Admin

Hi,

At Port Macquarie in Oz the site went off for a couple of hours.

The message I got was that the web providers were not talking.

Yes, we seem to be having some problems this week.

I'll bet the web hosting company will want more money to fix it?!

As I have Mayhem as my joint home page (which is why I appear to have been logged on forever) I note the system has been down again for an extended period again this afternoon.  At the least the 4th outage over 2 to 3 days.

Please spare a thought for Martin who may be pulling his hair out keep rebooting the database.

We do appreciate your efforts Martin.  Some of us get withdrawal symptoms after a few hours.

In another argument why they Always want more money to fix problems!
They don't seem or want to do any real investigation, of which I;m sure is a technical problem.

Hang in there chaps... or be prepared to get our cheque books out!  {:-{

Yep issues at work with our networks due to BT
To be fair they weren't BT failures. Both outages were caused by power failures at two separate data centres (with different operators) almost exactly 24 hours apart. One of those rare coincidences.
I believe Plusnet also got hammered by at least one event.
