It might be good for small motor mounts in place of Blu-Tak, but Blu-Tak is reuseable and much cheaper.  Not sure that I would want to invest 13 quid in brightly coloured silicone sealant when I can get tubes of the stuff for a fraction of that price in clear.

I think the analogy to 'Blu-Tak that sets' is just about right!
 Not suitable for very detailed work....

I've used it for a few things, it's not really sticky you can work it with your fingers like putty then it dries to a firm silicon rubber. I used it on some 8mm parallel bullet connectors for a big FE hydro and to mount some surface led's.

I think there is a £6.99 option available now, obviously not from the 'big boys' though!
I have a sachet at home to test, however it sits un-opened cos once open it will not keep. I believe it is packed in an oxygen free pack ( nitrogen? ), so once opened, use it.
I considered it for tagging plugs and sockets in a model, using the different colours, providing finger grips for the plugs and sockets.
