THE NEW 'MANCAVE'!
« on: May 27, 2014, 03:10:07 pm »

Righto, the new shed is up and running, all insulated and cladded out. Just a couple of leaks from the roof to sort out >:-o and awaiting to hear from the company who built and installed it. Apart from the drips (awaiting a smart alec reply {-) ) it is tops.

The first build out of the new workshed is an oldie, gone back to the Aliens dio and reworked it as there were some things I wanted to do but couldn't really in the house.

It has got a Facehugger hiding in the ceiling with hive slime, added a better sweat effect to Hicks and more watery goo to the Alien, also added some green highlights to the bubbling metal to denoted the green acidic blood.

Yep, couple of small projects to get out of the way this week, then it is time to work on the white one and get that all running.

Hi Alan, they are two 3 drawer types and they came from Home Bargains or Poundstretcher...£9.99 each IRC.

Looks ideal, all you need now is a kettle and some tea bags, and of course, chocolate digestives. :-))

Hi guys

Mancave is a good name for our hideaways, but mine is called the 'Workshed'.  I did call it a workshop but my Granddaughter told me "It can't be a workSHOP Grandad, because you don't sell anything.  It's the shed where you work on your model boats.  Can't argue with that logic, so 'Workshed' it is.

I have a couple of useful accessories going free if anybody wants to collect them.

Matching Electric kettle and Toaster (see pic below) - I tried to give them away
on freecycle but got no takers - If I can't pass them onto somebody then they are
bound for the local tip.

Just think! - with these, (and the necessary consumables) you could disappear into
your workshop for days!
