DISCLAIMER
«

I am a mod on another forum as some may know and was getting pm's asking if I were the infamous Father Goose?.....the one banned from here and Model Boats forum.
May I state categorically and squash any theories before they get out of hand..........(and ruin my life for ever
) I AM NOT, NEVER HAVE BEEN, NOR EVER WILL BE......the infamous father goose.............I don't look anything like Cary Grant for a start...........much more handsome!!
Seriously though, I have been accused of somethings' in my life, but never an underhanded person, and if I wish to complain about someone I will do it to their face, and if they don't listen, to their higher management......I don't hide behind a faceless acronym

I'd hardly describe 'Father Goose' as infamous - irrelevant and badly informed without doubt, but I wasn't aware that he had been banned from the Model Boats Forum though, and I manage it, so it looks as if your information is also incorrect Neil. Perhaps you should let him know.

This is becoming rather annoying. Whoever Father Goose is (and I neither know nor care) it seems that he is just trying to stir up mischief - maybe for his own perverse pleasure?
My apologies to those who must remain ignorant of the whole mess - it's best that way - but the facts are simple and the conclusion is clear.
There has been a dispute between two well-known people which has gone public, albeit in a very limited way. Explanations and apologies are required. However, the reasons why and whether or not they have already been made
it is no business of anyone except the two people involved
.
There is no mileage in allowing this affair any further airing. Enough damage has already been done to the hobby.
I hope that Martin puts a lock on this thread.
