Michael Schumacher update.
« on: June 16, 2014, 11:09:18 am »

Just heard on the radio that Michael Schumacher has awoken from the coma he's been in, and is being moved to a different hospital. Long term news isn't good though...

Thank you to the moderator who removed the unfunny remarks from earlier, and tidied up my post.

I'm not a great fan of Michael Shumacher or F1 in general, but I do believe that the man was a genius in his chosen sport, and I know he is adored by thousands of loyal fans, all of whom are constantly praying for his recovery.

His family need support at this time...I wish him well, and I hope he makes a full and complete recovery...Michael is a true fighter, he will need all the help he can get.

Horribly ironic that a guy who drove so fast for so long should be laid low in a silly skiing accident. Like Rich, F1 leaves me cold as a sport (it's like watching angry wasps fly past) but the man was the best of his time. Fingers crossed - although the prognosis sounds grim.

I can't see why my reply was removed. I did not say anything untoward at all, in fact I went out of my way to point out the medical differences in his coming out of a medically induced coma.
