Hi Ian,
I only recently found the time, I bought the TID as a Sirmar semi kit back in 2002 finally got started on it about 3 months ago. I also have the following in progress:
Sirmar HDML that I need running gear for. Also bought 2002 and only started 2 weeks ago.
Deans PBR that I decided to add extra detail to and now wish I hadn't as I got bogged down on the detailing. Bought this in 2000/2001 when they were first released.
My Springer Tug that just needs painting and deck fittings.
Last but by no means least a Graupner Lotse I bought on Ebay last year that needs a total rebuild.
I tend to build several at a time and when I come to a halt on one I do more on another. This weekend I drilled and cut the superstructure and started glueing on fittings. I have also put in all the deck beams and next step is the deck itself
Haven't been 100% for a few weeks and the weather is lousy so my weekends have been spent in front of the TV with a building board. I have enjoyed watching some classic films over the last two weeks. Today I watched the Hits channel as they had top 100 power ballads on. Probably spending about 12 hours a weekend on building at the moment.
Mind you I also have a Model Slipway FSB Tenby to build when I get done, a Model Boats Tyne hull and planset to build as well as a 1 metre yacht to rig. Not forgetting a choice of plans.
