New member here!
« on: June 18, 2014, 08:04:52 pm »

Hi all,

Thought I'd just do a quick post to say hello to everyone!

My names Jon, I've been around all types of models for as long as I can remember. My dad is actually a member on here, he's the reason I've joined!

His name for those wondering is tugs62.

I've joined here because I've just embarked on building my very first boat which I plan on either just posting about or even creating a build thread, who knows!

I think that'll do for now, thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon and welcome to the forum.

It's nice to know it's passing down the generations although it does rather make one feel a little older.   :}

Cheers

Ahhhh another one then, It's doing my nut in every time I go into the room and find half my tools scattered all over the bench.
I even built my son a slightly smaller bench on the other side of the room, which has made it worse, as now the tools can be left on his bench too.

I did make him buy his own screwdriver and knife set the other day, I'm just waiting now for the right time to use his and leave them all over the place  ;)

Hi Hornet and welcome to the forum.  You have not told us what your first build is going to be?
Ray, borrowing the tools is one thing, but drinking the beer is a different kettle of fish >>:-(

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

Graham, I've started with a Sea Hornet kit, hence the name. I've actually started a build thread more to keep a record of my first build than anything else.

Thanks,

Jon
