Still under construction; scratch built on fibreglass hull.

I really like this build the detailing is superb. My one reserve about it would be the water canon, would it have had one for this era? and if so would it have been painted red or grey as the rest of the fittings?

Yes the water cannon or the monitor as they were then called were fitted in this era, [you can see it on the small plan taken from a similar tug in the Empire Tugs book] one still to be seen on the 1946 empire tug Cervia at Ramsgate, and the water main and monitor should really be grey but the crew have not got round to painting it yet!! Seriously I got a bit fed up with all the grey so left it red to lift the model abit [modellers licence??]
