Bluebird has just given me a ticking off as I haven't put anything on here for a few days.

Well I have completed the stanchions and railings and a few of the small fittings and am now trying to make head or tail of Robbes instructions for making the guns.
They give a plan view, a side view [one side only] and a photo that was taken in the dark with no flash  ???

Yet again Richard another very fine model by yourself.

You should be taking on commission builds next that would keep you busy for ages  ;) ;D

Today I fitted the guns. Just hope they are right because the instructions etc lost something in the translation.
It took 2 days to make them as about the only parts I didn't have to make from the drawings were the gun barrels, the bases and the ammo boxes.

Been offered one already Jay but turned it down as the glue and paint fumes have been affecting me quite badly lately so I'm going to have a break for a while.
Still got my 1970s cabin cruiser refurbishment to finish yet.

More or less finished now. Had it in the paddling pool today and she floats to the water line and is nice and level.
Just got to sort out a blowing fuse problem and make some crew and we can go on the maiden voyage.

Has anyone got any more live anti-ship mines?
I used my last one last weekend,..... funnily enough during DickyD's maiden voyage?!?

BTW, I'm collecting PT15 superstructures.... I've already got one this week!  ;D

Martin, I know where you might be able to find a PT15 hull to go with it....

He builds them faster than Japan did in   WW2.. Should this now be called  Another Robbe PT 15 Build  two and a half.

Having lost the original superstructure [thanks nipper] I have now completed the boat again.
This time the superstructure is filled with bubblewrap and is fixed with magnetic catches. Actually it is a bit difficult to take it of now when needed.
I shall be trying it out at Setley on Sunday and will hope to get some photos this time before anything else happens,

Hi Jay
Thinking about using the hull that I have to build a pre Vietnam US gunboat but am having trouble getting photos,
Have got both sides and the front but need rear and above.
The ones I need are for PGM 66 or PGM 67.

Hi Russ nobody seems to do 1:40 figures so I went to Toys R Us and bought a bag of plastic soldiers [ 50 for 99p ] and chopped here and there and then painted them. I did the same when I built my Scheutze.  http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2809.80
