You may have seen this in the papers or on the tele you may have visit Liverpool over the last weekend, if not here is my version of the Edmund Gardner in her present colour scheme which, I hope, will not last too long.

To my mind, it's not good enough.

It's not "accurate" in terms of what dazzle was, it's an interpretation as perceived by an artist.

In this case, one who clearly doesn't understand how "real" dazzle was used to break up a silhouette or confuse a sub commander with regards to heading/distance etc.

Ah well.

There appears to be about 4 years of green growth on the base of the dock........

Has it taken that 'artiste' that long to complete such colourful work?.........

rottweiler......I would suggest many tens of thousand's of pounds in labour+ materials .......[including lots of rolls of masking tape {-)].......yuck  %% .......Derek

I hate to say this but I do too.   It's fun but it aint no "Dazzle" camouflage.  Now if you were sending her out to be a 1960s pirate radio station it would just the ticket.

They should have sent the "artist" north to Shetland to do some research.  Floatel "Sans Vitesse".
