Proper English mustard is probably a little on the strong side for American pallets  {-) to say the least; quite unlike their bland soupy stuff.

I was watching "How It's Made" the other week. One of the items shown was "Hot Dog" sausages; let me inform you that after seeing that, never will a "Hot Dog" sausage pass my lips.

Vegemite: receives the same response as Marmite does, yuk. However; I would be most please to receive for the coming season a selection Tim Tams

generally about 1/4" on the tip of a knife will make a nice hot ham sandwich, american mustard could be smothered on and still be mild in comparison.

You've just given me an awful idea for a prank......


Booked a cruise for next year, around the Caribbean. On board they have a hot dog stand where they have those pump pots....people load up on the woosy, yellow jollop they call mustard.
Reckon I ought to swop out the American pointless stuff and fill it full of proper English mustard and watch the surprise looks when they chow down...
